Christine (Owens) Parrigin

   Mrs. Eva CHRISTINE (Owens) PARRIGIN of Albany, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Clinton County Care & Rehab in Albany, Kentucky having attained the age of 94 years, 5 months & 14 days. She was born in the Highway Community of Clinton County, Kentucky on Sunday, July 1, 1928 the daughter of Harley & Edith (Thrasher) Owens. She was of the Baptist Faith, member of The Gospel Baptist Church, A graduate of Clinton County High School class of 1950, Worked in Factories as a seamstress, Fast Food service as a cook for Dairy Queen, Teacher's Aid at School, Cashier for Houchens, Nurses Aid for Dr. Barnes, enjoyed her garden and working outside. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Parrigin whom she wed on October 15, 1950, granddaughter, Melinda Jewell Pyles, Siblings, Audrey Beaty, J.T. Owens & Jerry Owens.

     She is survived by her children, Eva Jewell (& Lonnie) Pyles & Rural (& Janice) Parrigin both of Albany, Kentucky, Siblings, Nita Mae Owens of Noblesville, Indiana, Eunice (& Johnny) Hartsock of Clare More, Oklahoma, Ernest (& Barbara) Owens of New Castle, Indiana.

    The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. Melvin Daniel & Bro. Marcus Williams officiating.Casket bearers were Philip Parrigin, Herman Brown, Gaylon Copas, Doug Parrigin, Matthew Aaron, and Wayne Daniel. Burial was in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.  In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Gideons Bible program. Campbell-New Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
