Mr. Charles Edwin Brown, of Albany, Kentucky, passed away, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the Medical Center in Albany, having attained the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 13 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Monday, August 16, 1954, the son of Floyd & Ethel (Shelton) Brown. Charles was a self employed carpenter and loved his family, and their genealogy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Homer & Maude (Wright) Shelton, cousin, Daryl Bell, and best friends, Jim Bell & Pete Bell.

          He is survived by his children Jessica (& Jeremy) Ratliff of Jamestown, Tennessee, Jacklyn (& Justin) Draughn, both of Jamestown, Tennessee, step-son, Casher Brown of Lafayette, Tennessee, grandchildren, Rylee Boland, Caleigh Draughn, Gage Ratliff, Mackenzie Ratliff, special grandchildren, Bryson Draughn, Bryhanna Draughn, Kaydi Jones, aunt, Brenda (& Jerry) Jones of Albany, and special cousin, Kathy Brown of Albany.

          The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, March 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. C.S.T. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Ted Burchett officiating. Pallbearers were Jason Hughes, Austin Hughes, Hunter Hughes, Rodney Shelton, Hayden Shelton, Derek Guffey, and Tyler Shelton. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
