Mrs. Betty Ann (Davis) Harding of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022 at her residence in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 59 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was born in Jamestown, Tennessee on Sunday, July 8, 1962, the daughter of Lawrence and Joyce ( Fowler) Davis. She was a homemaker raising her children and several of her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Davis, David Davis, and Catherine Patton.
She is survived by her husband, David Eugene Harding, of Albany, Kentucky, whom she wed on April 12, 1978, children, David "Slick" (& Kristy) Harding, Amanda "Tiny" Harding, Leslie "Doc" (& Ashley) Harding, Robert "Stubby" (& Melinda) Harding, step-children, Allen Harding, Tammy Harding, and Patricia Harding all of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Darlene (& Jim) Bussy of Cincinnati, Ohio, Pauline Allen of Newport, Tennessee, Marilyn (& Steve) Koger of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, Marie (& Jamie) Hansard of Knoxville, Tennessee, George Davis of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Sarah (& Dustin) Walters, LaKota Harding, Destiny Harding, Karly Harding, Jamison Milam, Khloe Harding, Isiaha Harding, Carson Harding, Cannon Harding, Cansen Harding, Irason Harding, Tydus Harding, Zack Rains, Kimberly Long, Hayden Brannon, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and many other family members.
The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky, with Bro. Rayborn Starns, and Bro. Robert Thrasher officiating. Casket bearers were Doc Harding, Slick Harding, Stubby Harding, Dustin Harding, Micheal Bailey, Robert Bigham, and Cannon Harding. Burial was in the Crockett Cemetery in Fentress County, Tennessee. Campbell-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
