Anna Ruth Stockton Obituary

Mrs. Anna Ruth (Craig) Stockton of Albany, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019, at The Medical Center in Albany, Kentucky, having attained the age of 85 years and 6 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Sunday, October 21, 1934, the daughter of Paul and Roxie (Smith) Craig. She was of Baptist faith, a member of Clearfork Baptist Church, member of the Eastern Star, and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Edd Craig. Mrs. Stockton is survived by her husband, E. Howard "Tuddy" Stockton of Albany, Kentucky, whom she wed Saturday, February 23, 1952, daughter, Paula (and Rodney) Little of Albany, Kentucky, brother, Bobby Joe (and Flossie) Craig of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Loren Little and Evan Little, several nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in the Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Brother Bob Sawyer officiating. Burial was in the Craig Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Jonathan Craig, Stephan Craig, Norman Smith, Clyde Shelton, Greg Smith, and Tim Armstrong. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Clearfork Baptist Church in her memory. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
