Mr. Alfred Preston Pittman Jr. of Albany, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Med Center Health in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 79 years, 5 months, and 14 days. He was born in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, March 15, 1945, the son of Alfred Preston and Lily Beatrice (Byrd) Pittman. He was a Christian and a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out with his friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kelly Pittman, and a brother-in-law, Randall Vance.

     He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Fitzgerald of Albany, Kentucky, sister, Sarah Vance of Louisville, Kentucky, brother, Hillman Pittman of Albany, Kentucky, grandchildren, Sinead Fitzgerald, Cheyanne (& Cameron) Davis, great-grandchildren, Olivia, Kelly, Caliber, Desmond, and Zepplin, companion, Doris Honeycutt, niece, Heather (& John) DeCamillis, nephew, Zack Pittman, other family, and friends.

          The family chose cremation and will have a memorial service at a later date. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
